Welcome to The Cargo Net, your primary source for restored Marine and Nautical Antiques and other fine items of American "Nostalgia". The Cargo Net is a "must see" stop on every visitor's trip to the resort island of Put-in-Bay, Ohio during the summer season. More than 6,000 square feet of incredible marine antiques and nostalgia make The Cargo Net worth the trip to see this shop's incredible inventory. All antiques have been meticulously restored on the premises by the owner/operators Bob Stone and Bill Timmerman, a business partnership for 53 years. We specialize in nautical antiques and nostalgia items. Our stock ranges from small nautical instruments to large works of art, sculptures, gas pumps, life size figures, ship's figure heads, bronze lamps and unique, one of a kind items. We feature a unique collection of restored Binnacles, Engine Room Telegraphs, Ship's Furniture and Americana. We could not possibly show every item in our current stock, but we invite you to browse the photo albums on each page to get an idea of our current stock and the type of items we generally carry. Some items may be displayed under more than one category. Our warehouse is well stocked. Please take the time to browse our web site. We stock far too many items to include them all and a visit to our store on Put-in-Bay should be included as a stop whenever you are in the area. Think of us for all your nautical antique and nostalgia needs. We are a nautical and nostalgia lover's paradise. We are open from noon until 5 p.m. from Memorial Day through Mid-September. If you see something you like, please call us at 419-285-4231. We have traveled all over the United States finding interesting and unusual items of Americana. We have restored the majority of the items ourselves right here in our workshop on South Bass Island. We generally always know the history of each piece of nostalgia and nautical antiques as well as the bio of any artist we stock. Since the majority of our stock is unique and one of a kind, some items currently on our website may not be available. If you see something that you like, please call us at 419-285-4231 during our seasonal business hours.
